Selection Notes

The TM221C40R is the top of the relay-output M221 range, stepping up from the 24 I/O C24R when a hardwired panel needs 24 DI / 16 relay DO on a single base unit rather than adding expansion modules. It shares the same 7 local / 14 remote expansion capacity as the C24R, so the extra headroom comes from the base unit's I/O count, not more expansion slots. As with the smaller relay variants, each output switches AC contactor coils or pilot devices directly, at the cost of the 100 kHz pulse-train outputs only the transistor-output variants provide.
