The TM221C24T steps up from the 16 I/O C16T to 14 DI / 10 transistor DO for panels needing more pulse-train or high-speed digital points - fast outputs Q0-Q1 still reach 100 kHz for PTO/PWM/PLS motion functions, the same as the smaller C16T. Expansion headroom grows to 7 local / 14 remote modules versus 4/11 on the C16T. Where the panel switches AC loads instead of 24 V DC, the relay-output C24R covers the same 24-point count without needing interposing relays.
