Selection Notes

The TM221C16R's 7 relay outputs (5-125 V DC or 5-250 V AC, 2 A each) switch AC loads such as contactor coils or pilot lights directly, without an external interposing relay - the transistor-output C16T switches only 24 V DC loads but reaches PWM/PLS output rates up to 100 kHz that this relay variant cannot match, since relay switching frequency here caps at 20 operations per minute at full load. Local I/O tops out at 9 DI / 7 DO; machines needing more points step up to the 24 I/O C24R or scale through the 4 local / 11 remote expansion module slots rather than moving to a larger base unit.
