Choose the TM200CE24R over a non-Ethernet M200 sibling where the application needs Modbus TCP/IP connectivity — its integrated RJ45 port (10/100BASE-T) reads and writes over Ethernet directly, alongside the same USB and RS485/RS232 serial ports as the base model, without an external gateway. Its relay outputs switch 2 A up to 250 V AC or 30 V DC directly, at the cost of a slower ~10 ms response versus a transistor-output sibling. Move to the 32 I/O Ethernet variant where more discrete points are needed on the same relay-output, AC-supply platform, or to a non-Ethernet transistor-output sibling where 24 V DC control power is preferred instead.
