The SR3B101BD's 4 relay outputs switch up to 8 A directly on 24–250 V AC or 5–30 V DC loads, so it can drive small contactors, solenoid valves or pilot lights without an interposing relay — the transistor-output sibling (SR3B102BD) instead needs a load already matched to 24 V DC and 0.5–0.625 A per point. Choose the 10 I/O base over the 26 I/O SR3B261BD when the application fits within 6 discrete/4 analogue inputs and 4 outputs; the built-in clock and 4 analogue inputs (0–10 V, 0–24 V or temperature probe) let it run time-based sequences or simple threshold control without an extension module.
