- Description
The Schneider Electric SMT10020 is a PowerLogic HeatTag wireless smart sensor that detects cable and connection overheating inside electrical switchboards. It analyses gas and particle concentrations in the air and reports a three-level alert, temperature, humidity, and air-quality index over a 2.4 GHz wireless link. The sensor is supplied at 110-277 V AC and mounts on a DIN rail at the top of a non-forced-air switchboard, where it pairs with an EcoStruxure data concentrator.

Selection Notes
Mount the HeatTag on top of a non-forced-air switchboard, above the cables or connections it monitors, since the gas-and-particle analysis needs natural convection to reach the sensor. Pair it with an EcoStruxure data concentrator or a PrismaSeT Wireless Panel Server; the 30-second default transmission period shortens automatically when data traffic rises.
