The Schneider Electric NTSDDO0802K is a Modicon Edge I/O NTS discrete output module kit with 8 transistor outputs at 24 V DC, 2 A per channel, pre-assembled on its NTSXBA0100H base. Channels wire in a single-wire connection across 2 groups of 4 and draw field power from an external 24 V DC supply, covering a -20...60 degC operating range. It mounts on a DIN rail and connects to Modicon M262 or M580 controllers.

Selection Notes

The 2 A per-channel rating on the NTSDDO0802K, four times the 500 mA of the NTSDDO0602K/0402K, suits solenoid valves and small motor starters driven directly from the I/O module. Field power comes from an external 24 V DC supply rather than the internal bus-power path, so the supply's current capacity must cover the 8 A module maximum when all channels run at rated load simultaneously. Grouping the 8 channels into two 4-channel groups lets the controller isolate a field-side fault to half the module rather than the whole output set.
