Selection Notes

The 16-channel, single-wire design on the NTSDDI1602K maximizes point density per DIN-rail slot, the right pick for high-count sink-input zones such as a bank of limit switches. Above 55 degC ambient, the module derates to 12 active channels, so the full 16-channel rating only applies in cooler enclosures; verify panel temperature against this before specifying it over the lower-count alternatives. For isolated groups where a wiring fault on one group should not affect another, the NTSDDI1602XK (4 groups of 4 channels) is the better choice despite the extra width.
