The Schneider Electric NTSDDI0802X is a Modicon Edge I/O NTS discrete input module with 8 type 3 inputs at 24 V DC sink logic, sold as the module alone (base NTSXBA0100H and terminal block ordered separately). Channels wire in 1 or 2 wires, covering a -20...60 degC operating range. It installs on its base on a DIN rail and connects to Modicon M262 or M580 controllers.

Selection Notes

The NTSDDI0802X is the bare module for installations that reuse an existing NTSXBA0100H base and terminal block, such as a channel-count upgrade on a cluster already fitted with the matching accessories. For a new install or a spares order, the pre-assembled NTSDDI0802XK kit is the simpler choice since it bundles the base in one SKU. The 90 microsec/60 microsec response time is faster than the 6-channel NTSDDI0602K's 125 microsec, worth noting when the application counts fast discrete events.
