- Description
The Schneider Electric NTSDAO0205K is a Modicon Edge I/O NTS discrete output module kit with 2 triac channels switching 100...240 V AC loads, pre-assembled on its NTSXBA0100H base. Each channel wires in 1, 2 or 3-wire mode with RC snubber suppression, covering a -20...60 degC operating range. It mounts on a DIN rail and connects to Modicon M262 or M580 controllers.

Selection Notes
The triac output on the NTSDAO0205K switches AC loads such as solenoid valves or pilot lamps directly at 100...240 V without an interposing relay, and the built-in RC snubber suppresses inductive turn-off spikes on coil loads. Paralleling two channels is supported for redundant control or doubled current, a useful option when a single triac's rating is the limiting factor. For DC-switched loads at 24 V, the NTSDDO transistor-output modules are the correct choice instead, since this module has no DC output rating.
