The Schneider Electric METSECT5MD060 is a PowerLogic MD-type current transformer for panel metering, rated 600/5 A for busbar and cable installation. It accepts cables up to 40 mm in diameter or a 50.5 x 12.5 mm / 40.5 x 20.5 mm bus bar, delivering Class 0.5 accuracy at 6 VA burden or Class 1 at 8 VA.

The METSECT5MD060 matches the 600 A rating of the MC060 unit but in the wider 40 mm cable window, so it is the pick when the conductor itself, rather than the current, has outgrown the 32 mm MC family. The 36 kA thermal current and 2.5x Ith dynamic withstand carry over unchanged from the MC equivalent, keeping fault performance consistent across both window sizes.
