The Schneider Electric METSECT5MC030 is a PowerLogic MC-type current transformer for panel metering, rated 300/5 A for busbar and cable installation. It accepts cables up to 32 mm in diameter or a 40.5 x 10.5 / 32.5 x 20.5 / 25.5 x 25.5 mm bus bar, delivering Class 0.5 accuracy at 5 VA burden or Class 1 at 8 VA.

The METSECT5MC030 covers feeders up to 300 A in the same MC body and 32 mm window as its siblings, so the choice between the 250 A and 300 A variants comes down to the feeder's actual load current rather than a physical fit difference. Its 18 kA thermal rating and 2.5x Ith dynamic withstand sit one step above the 250 A unit, giving headroom on circuits closer to the next breaker size up.
