The Schneider Electric METSECT5MB030 is a PowerLogic Type MB tropicalised current transformer for DIN-rail, mounting-plate, or busbar installation, ratio 300/5 A, dual Class Class 0.5 at 4 VA | Class 1 at 6 VA accuracy. It accepts a cable up to 26 mm or a bar through its 40.5 x 12.5 mm or 32.5 x 15.5 mm (double output) opening, supplying a 5 A secondary for metering or protection on a 300 A circuit.

The METSECT5MB030 covers a 300 A primary through either its 26 mm cable opening or its 40.5 x 12.5 mm or 32.5 x 15.5 mm (double output), so the same part serves both busbar and cable feeders in a panel — pick the next size up in the MA/MB family only if the actual conductor exceeds this rating. Class 0.5 accuracy makes it suitable for revenue-grade or sub-billing energy metering, not just coarse load indication. The insulated locking screw mount works on a DIN rail, a mounting plate, or directly on the busbar.

Applications
