The LXM32SD12N4's SERCOS III interface is integrated rather than card-based, which fixes this drive to SERCOS motion buses and trades away the CANopen/EtherCAT/Profinet flexibility of the LXM32M line - pick it only when the cell's motion controller is already standardized on SERCOS III. Its discrete I/O is narrower too: 2 capture inputs and 3 logic outputs only, with STO as the sole integrated safety function and no eSM card for SS1, SS2, SLS, or SOS. This is the entry-current three-phase LXM32S frame; step up to the 6 A / 1.8 kW SD18N4 once the axis motor's continuous power exceeds roughly 0.9 kW. At 3 A continuous / 0.9 kW nominal on three-phase supply, size this frame the same way as its LXM32M current-rated counterpart, based on the axis motor's continuous power draw.
