The Schneider Electric LXM32MU90M2 is the smallest-current Lexium 32 LXM32M motion servo drive, rated for single-phase supply at 100-120 V or 200-240 V with a continuous output current of 3 A at 8 kHz and a nominal power of 0.5 kW at 230 V. It integrates STO safety and an EMC filter for compact single-axis motion on light-load machines.

At 3 A continuous / 0.5 kW, the LXM32MU90M2 is the entry-current frame in the single-phase LXM32M line, below the 10 A / 1.6 kW MD30M2 - choose it for light-load axes such as small pick-and-place or indexing motion where 0.5 kW covers the torque and speed envelope, and step up to MD30M2 once the motor's continuous power exceeds roughly 0.5 kW. It retains the full 2 capture, 2 safety, and 4 logic discrete input set with the optional eSM safety card for SS1, SS2, SLS, and SOS, so the smaller frame does not trade away safety functionality. Natural convection cooling (no fan) keeps the drive silent at this current level, unlike the fan-cooled MD30M2 and MD18N4 frames.

Applications

Light-load single-axis motion in compact cells - small pick-and-place heads, indexing tables, and lab or bench automation where the axis draws well under 0.5 kW.
