The Schneider Electric LXM32MD72N4 is the top-current Lexium 32 LXM32M motion servo drive, rated for three-phase supply at 200-240 V or 380-480 V with a continuous output current of 24 A at 8 kHz and a nominal power of 7 kW at 400 V. It carries integrated STO safety and accepts a fieldbus communication card for single-axis motion control on the highest-load machines in the range.

At 24 A continuous / 7 kW, the LXM32MD72N4 is the largest frame in the LXM32M line and steps up from the 6 A / 1.8 kW MD18N4 for axes whose motor draws well above 1.8 kW continuous. This frame drops to 2 capture discrete inputs with STO as the only integrated safety function - no separate eSM safety card for SS1, SS2, SLS, or SOS is listed for this variant, unlike the lower-current MD18N4 and MD30M2 frames - so a machine needing category-1 stop or safe limited speed on this axis should confirm that requirement before specifying it. The wider 108 mm housing reflects the higher continuous and peak current the power stage carries.
