- Description
The Schneider Electric LXM32CD72N4 is a Lexium 32 LXM32C compact motion servo drive delivering 24 A continuous output current at 8 kHz from a three-phase 200-240 V / 380-480 V supply, rated 7 kW nominal power at 400 V. It integrates an EMC filter, 2 safety and 6 logic digital inputs, 5 discrete outputs, and Modbus over RJ45.

Selection Notes
As a 'C' variant, the LXM32CD72N4 takes command over integrated analog and pulse-train inputs plus Modbus rather than a dedicated motion fieldbus — choose the 'M' or 'S' series instead if the application needs CANopen/EtherCAT motion-bus control. At 24 A continuous / 7 kW at 400 V, it sits toward the top of the compact 'C' frame; the 72 A figure in the reference marks only the 5-second peak overload, not a continuous rating, so size the motor and cabling to the 24 A continuous figure.
Applications
Single-axis position, speed, and torque control via analog reference or pulse train, paired with BMH or BSH servo motors up to 7 kW at 400 V three-phase.
