- Description
The Schneider Electric LXM32AD72N4 is a Lexium 32 three-phase servo drive rated for 24 A continuous output current at 8 kHz switching frequency, delivering 7 kW nominal power at 400 V. It accepts a 200-480 V AC three-phase supply, integrates an EMC filter, and provides CANopen/CANmotion communication over RJ45 for single-axis motion control with BMH/BSH servo motors.

Selection Notes
At 24 A continuous / 7 kW nominal (400 V, 8 kHz), the LXM32AD72N4 is the higher-current member of the Lexium 32 range, sized for single-axis motion where a lower-current drive would run into continuous torque limits. The integrated STO function (SIL 3, PL e) lets it stop torque safely through its two dedicated safety inputs without an external safety relay, and the CANmotion/CANopen RJ45 ports support synchronized multi-axis coordination over the same fieldbus used for configuration. The integrated cooling fan and IP20 enclosure keep the drive within its 0-50 C operating range in a standard control cabinet. Pair it with a compatible BMH or BSH servo motor sized to the load inertia; a lower-current model in the range fits machines below the 7 kW nominal point.
