The Schneider Electric LV563552 is a 500 A EasyPact CVS630N moulded case circuit breaker for low-voltage distribution. Its MA trip unit gives magnetic-only short-circuit protection with an adjustable instantaneous threshold, and the 3-pole, 3D frame breaks 50 kA at 380/415 V AC under IEC 60947-2.

Selection Notes

LV563552 uses a fixed-thermal, magnetic-only MA trip unit rather than an adjustable electronic unit, so overload protection for the 500 A rating is set at the factory and only the instantaneous threshold (6...13 x In) is field-adjustable -- a simpler, lower-cost choice where the motor or feeder's steady-state current is already known. Choose the N-frame breaking class (50 kA at 380/415 V) over a lower class whenever downstream prospective fault current exceeds a 36 kA threshold.
