- Description
The Schneider Electric LC1F1700M7 is a 3-pole TeSys F contactor rated 1700 A AC-1 at up to 1000 V AC, built for switching large non-inductive loads such as resistive heater banks, transformer primaries and bus-tie applications. It carries a 220 V AC coil and bolted bus-bar power terminals, with a 2550 A rated breaking capacity and a 10 kA short-time withstand for 10 s.

Selection Notes
At 1700 A AC-1, the LC1F1700M7 is sized for resistive and non-inductive duty, not motor starting — the 2550 A breaking capacity and bolted bar terminals suit fixed heater-bank or bus-tie installations where the load current is steady rather than inrush-heavy. The 220 V AC coil draws 36 VA holding power, so panel designers standardising on a single 220 V control transformer across a switchboard can use the same coil spec on the lower-current TeSys F frames. Where the application needs higher continuous current in the same bolted-bar frame, the next size up in the TeSys F range carries the identical 332 x 438 mm footprint and mounting pattern.
