- Description
The Schneider Electric LC1F1700F7 is a 3-pole TeSys F contactor rated 1700 A AC-1 at up to 1000 V, the largest frame in the TeSys F line for heavy distribution and bus switching duty. It runs on a 110 V AC 40-400 Hz coil and connects power through bolted bar terminals, backed by a 2550 A breaking capacity.

Selection Notes
At 1700 A AC-1 and 1000 V this is the top of the TeSys F range, rated for a lower 600 cycles/h duty than the 1260 A frames below it, reflecting the heavier mechanical mass that must be accelerated on each operation. Pick the 1260 A LC1F1250 frame instead when the continuous current requirement is lower; the 1600 A gG fuse coordination figure sets the upstream short-circuit protection to pair with this contactor.
Applications
Main incomer and bus-tie switching in large low-voltage switchboards, generator and utility tie-in panels, and distribution boards rated above 1260 A where the smaller TeSys F frames fall short.
