The Schneider Electric LC1E500M7 is a 3-pole Easy TeSys Control contactor rated 500 A (AC-3) at up to 440 V AC, built for direct-on-line motor control up to 250 kW at 400 V. It carries a 220 V AC coil and no built-in auxiliary contact, making it a bar-terminal power contactor for plate-mounted motor starter and switching panels.

Selection Notes

The 500 A AC-3 rating supports direct-on-line starting of motors up to 250 kW at 400 V AC, while the separate 700 A AC-1 rating applies to resistive loads, not motor circuits. Bar terminals with a 40 x 5 mm busbar cross-section and a 35 N.m power-circuit tightening torque reflect the bolted, high-current connections this frame size needs, in place of the screw-clamp terminals used on lower-current contactors in the range. The 4200 A / 10 s short-time withstand current gives margin to hold through fault current until the 800 A gG upstream fuses clear. With no built-in auxiliary contact, an add-on auxiliary contact block is required for any status or interlock signal.
