The LC1E0601BD's 1 NC auxiliary contact opens when the contactor energizes, useful for interlocking or for signalling that the main circuit has gone live. At 6 A AC-3, it covers motors up to 2.2 kW at 380/400 V; the same LC1E frame scales up to higher current ratings for larger motors without changing the mounting footprint. Its 24 V DC coil suits control systems already running a 24 V DC rail, avoiding a separate AC control transformer.
