Schneider Electric LC1DT40FD TeSys Deca Contactor 4P 4NO AC-1 40 A 110 V DC Coil Contactor

The Schneider Electric LC1DT40FD is a compact 4-pole TeSys Deca contactor rated 40 A AC-1 for non-inductive and resistive loads up to 440 V. It runs on a 110 V DC coil with a built-in bidirectional peak-limiting diode suppressor and includes a 1 NO + 1 NC auxiliary block with a mirror-certified NC contact.

Selection Notes

At 40 A AC-1 this is the top end of the LC1DT compact frame, with a 450 A breaking capacity that clears the 300 A rating of the 32 A sibling below it. The 110 V DC coil with built-in suppressor diode suits panels already wired on a DC control bus; choose an AC-coil sibling in the LC1DT range when the panel runs on a standard AC control transformer instead.

Applications

DC-control panels, battery-backed switchgear, and compact marine or shore-based distribution boards covered by the DNV/GL/LROS/RINA/BV society approvals. The 45 mm frame also fits densely populated control cabinets where several contactors share a single DIN rail segment.
