The Schneider Electric K30D002UP is a Harmony K series front-mounted cam changeover switch with 2 poles, rated for 32 A conventional free-air thermal current (Ith) and 690 V insulation voltage (Ui). The 64 x 64 mm plastic front plate carries a black handle marked 1-0-2, switching 60 degrees between two positions with an off position in the center, IP40 rated.

Selection Notes

The 2-pole configuration suits circuits where only two conductors need to switch between sources, such as single-phase changeover or switching one motor winding pair between two supplies. With a 32 A Ith rating and 690 V Ui, it covers general-purpose motor and lighting changeover duty inside enclosed panels; the 3-pole version exists for full three-phase changeover where all three line conductors must switch together. Pick the 2P body when a leg or neutral stays common between the two switched sources.

Applications

Typical uses include changeover between two single-phase supplies, switching a control circuit between manual and automatic operating mode, or alternating a two-wire load between main and standby feed. The captive screw clamp terminals accept 2 x 4 mm2 flexible or 2 x 6 mm2 solid conductors, so panel wiring does not need ferrules.
