The Schneider Electric GV1L3 is a TeSys short-circuit current limiter module rated 32 A at 690 V AC, mounted on top of a GV2L, GV2LE, GV2P, GV2ME or GV2RT motor circuit breaker to raise its breaking capacity from 50 kA up to 100-130 kA at 400 V. It activates at 1500 A and weighs 0.13 kg.

Selection Notes

Add the GV1L3 on top of a GV2 breaker whose standard 50 kA breaking capacity is not enough for the prospective fault current at the installation point; the module raises it to 100-130 kA without changing the breaker's own current setting. It is sized for the 32 A / 690 V class of GV2 breakers only - larger frames in the GV3 and GV4 ranges use a different current-limiter reference.
