The Schneider Electric C63S4TM500D is a four-pole ComPacT NSX630S DC moulded case circuit breaker rated 500 A at 40 °C and 750 V DC, with a 100 kA breaking capacity across 24 V DC to 750 V DC using one to three poles in series. It carries a TM-DC thermal-magnetic trip unit for adjustable overload and magnetic short-circuit protection, fixed for backplate mounting.

The TM-DC thermal-magnetic trip unit gives an adjustable 0.7…1 x In overload setting and a 2.5…5 x In magnetic trip, sized for DC distribution and DC motor circuits up to 750 V DC using poles in series. Choose the 600 A rating from this frame when the circuit's continuous current falls outside the 500 A adjustment band, and move to the 3-pole version instead when the installation does or does not need a switched neutral conductor.
