The C40W36E400 is a Schneider Electric ComPacT NSX400HB2 3-pole moulded case circuit breaker rated 400 A at 40 °C, with a 100 kA breaking capacity (Icu) at 660/690 V AC. It uses the MicroLogic 6.3 E trip unit, which provides adjustable long-time, short-time, instantaneous and switchable ground-fault protection plus an integrated energy meter, and is rated for isolation up to 690 V AC.

Selection Notes

The L-S-I-G MicroLogic 6.3 E adds adjustable, switch-off-capable ground-fault protection to the 5.3 E feature set. Specify this variant instead of the 5.3 E when the circuit needs 4th-pole or source ground-fault protection, for example on a TN-S or IT-derived board; otherwise the 5.3 E covers the same long-time/short-time/instantaneous stages. At 100 kA Icu at 660/690 V AC, the HB2 frame is the top 690 V option in the 400 A ComPacT NSX range, at 100 kA at 660/690 V.
