Selection Notes

The MicroLogic 2.0 A trip unit on the C160N32AFM provides long-time overload (L) and instantaneous short-circuit (I) protection only — there is no short-time delay stage, so this 3-pole, 1600 A breaker suits a terminal or feeder position rather than a selective main incomer. The 'A' suffix adds an integrated ammeter for local current readout without separate metering. Step up to the 5.0 (LSI) trip unit in the same NS1600N frame when the installation needs short-time discrimination with downstream devices, or to 6.0 (LSIG) when ground-fault tripping must also be integrated.
