At the top of the frame's current range, the C12N3TM160B runs its TM-D trip unit at full 160 A rating; the adjustable long-time pickup (0.7...1 x In) still allows the protection to be set below that if the feeder cable is undersized relative to the breaker. The 50 kA N performance level, with Ics equal to Icu across the voltage range, means full fault current can be cleared repeatedly without derating — relevant where the board sees multiple fault events over its service life.
