The C12F3TM160B is a 3-pole Schneider Electric ComPacT NSXm160F moulded case circuit breaker rated 160 A, with a TM-D thermal-magnetic trip unit and an F-performance 36 kA breaking capacity (Icu) at 380/415 V AC. Rated operational voltage (Ue) is 440 V AC. At 81 x 137 x 80 mm it is one of the most compact frames in the ComPacT range, built for compression-lug or busbar distribution circuits.

The F performance level puts the C12F3TM160B at 36 kA Icu, the lower of the two NSXm160 breaking levels offered in this frame (F and N) — enough for most LV distribution boards fed from a transformer with moderate fault level. Where prospective fault current at the board exceeds 36 kA, the N-rated 50 kA variant in the same frame is the correct choice instead. The TM-D unit's 0.7...1 x In thermal range lets the long-time pickup be tuned to the downstream cable rather than left at the full 160 A frame rating.
