The Schneider Electric C125H450FM is a 4-pole, 1250 A ComPacT NS1250H moulded case circuit breaker rated for 70 kA breaking capacity (Icu) at 380/415 V AC. Fixed-mounted and manually operated, it carries a MicroLogic 5.0 electronic trip unit delivering long-time overload, short-time delay and instantaneous short-circuit protection, and is rated up to 690 V AC for high-breaking-capacity distribution duty in the ComPacT NS630b...1600 new generation line.

Selection Notes

The H-frame classification gives the C125H450FM 70 kA Icu at 380/415 V AC — choose it over the N-frame version of the same 1250 A frame when prospective short-circuit current at the installation point runs above standard distribution levels. Its MicroLogic 5.0 trip unit adds a short-time delay stage over the 2.0 (LI) units in this frame, letting it hold through a downstream breaker's instantaneous trip for selective coordination on a main or sub-main application. The base MicroLogic 5.0 unit has no digital display — settings are read off the dial markings, with no RMS or energy readout. With 4 poles and a neutral protection setting adjustable between 0.5× Ir (3D + N/2) and 1× Ir (4D), it suits TN-S or TT systems that need their own neutral overload protection; the 3-pole version of the same frame is for 3-phase-only loads.
