The Schneider Electric C10H32M100 is a ComPacT NSX100H molded case circuit breaker built for motor protection circuits. Configured as 3P, it is rated for 100 A continuous current with a 70 kA breaking capacity (Icu) at 415 V AC, and carries an electronic MicroLogic 2.2 M trip unit with adjustable long-time, short-time and instantaneous (LSoI (long-time, short-time with fixed delay, instantaneous)) motor protection.

Selection Notes

The C10H32M100 uses an electronic MicroLogic 2.2 M trip unit on the NSX100H frame (a high breaking-capacity frame), giving adjustable long-time pick-up (50-100 A), a selectable trip class (5, 10 or 20) for the motor's starting profile, and phase-unbalance protection that a fixed thermal-magnetic unit cannot provide. Pick trip class 10 for standard-inertia motors and class 20 for high-inertia loads with longer starting times, since a class that is too fast will nuisance-trip on startup and one that is too slow under-protects the motor winding. The instantaneous pick-up is fixed at 1500 A, so short-circuit response time does not change with the Ir or trip-class settings.
