The Schneider Electric C100H35EFM is a 3-pole ComPacT NS1000H moulded case circuit breaker rated 1000 A, with a 70 kA breaking capacity (Icu) at 380/415 V AC. It is fitted with a MicroLogic 5.0 E trip unit delivering long-time overload, short-time delay and instantaneous short-circuit protection (LSI), is fixed-mounted and manually operated, and carries a 690 V rated operational voltage for industrial distribution switchboards.

Selection Notes

Its LSI trip unit adds an adjustable short-time delay (Isd, tsd) on top of the long-time overload and instantaneous stages, which lets it hold a short-time withstand for selective coordination with downstream breakers instead of tripping instantaneously on every fault. The energy-meter display adds load energy tracking on top of the RMS current reading, useful for sub-metering a feeder. The H-frame rating gives it 70 kA Icu at 380/415 V AC; within the NS1000H line this is the class to pick when the calculated prospective short-circuit current at the installation point is at or below that figure without derating to the L-frame.
