Rated 1000 A with a 70 kA breaking capacity at 380/415 V AC, the C100H35AFM is a 3-pole ComPacT NS1000H moulded case circuit breaker from Schneider Electric. The MicroLogic 5.0 A trip unit delivers overload (L), short-time delayed short-circuit (S) and instantaneous (I) protection, and the device mounts fixed with front connections rated 690 V AC. It also adds an integrated LCD ammeter for local current readout.

Selection Notes

The MicroLogic 5.0 A trip unit on the C100H35AFM is configured for overload (L), short-time delayed short-circuit (S) and instantaneous (I) protection. Adding the S (short-time delay) stage to L-I lets this trip unit hold off tripping briefly on a downstream fault, so an upstream breaker can coordinate selectively with devices further down the circuit. In the NS1000 case size, this H-frame breaker is the high breaking capacity option (70 kA Icu at 380/415 V AC); the L-frame (150 kA Icu) and the N-frame (50 kA Icu) versions share the same case and accessories but trade breaking capacity for cost or vice versa. Within the same frame, the plain (no-suffix) trip unit drops the ammeter if local current readout isn't needed, while the E-suffix version swaps it for an energy meter. As a 3-pole unit it protects the three phases only; the 4-pole version of the same frame adds switched or protected neutral handling.
