Selection Notes

The BMXEHC0200 handles 2 independent high-speed counting channels up to 60,000 Hz, suited to quadrature encoder feedback or fast pulse counting that a standard discrete input module's response time cannot resolve. Each channel's 2 auxiliary outputs (0.5 A, 2 A per module) let the counter drive a preset or compare output directly, without routing the count value back through the CPU's scan cycle. Choose the 8-channel counter module in the range instead when the application needs more counting channels than 2, at the cost of a lower 10,000 Hz per-channel ceiling.
