- Description
The Schneider Electric BMXCPS2010 is a Modicon X80 power supply module that converts an isolated 24 V DC primary supply into the secondary rails a Modicon M340 or M580 rack needs to run. It delivers 16.8 W on the 24 V DC I/O-and-processor rail and 8.3 W on the 3.3 V DC I/O logic rail, with a maximum power dissipation of 8.5 W.

Selection Notes
The BMXCPS2010 powers a rack from an isolated 24 V DC control supply rather than an AC line, delivering 16.8 W on the 24 V DC I/O-and-processor rail — matching the AC-input variant's rating but without a mains transformer stage. Choose it over the wider-range DC variant in the range when the control supply is fixed at 24 V; that variant is needed only if the supply can sag toward 48 V, beyond this module's 18-31.2 V input window. Keep the 24 V DC power supply cable run within 20 m at 1.5 mm² (or 30 m at 2.5 mm²) to stay inside the module's voltage-drop tolerance.
