- Description
The Schneider Electric BMXCPS2000 is a Modicon X80 power supply module that converts a 100-240 V AC single-phase primary supply into the 24 V DC and 3.3 V DC secondary rails a Modicon M340 or M580 rack needs to run. It is rated 20 W nominal secondary power, with 16.8 W available on the 24 V DC I/O-and-processor rail and a maximum power dissipation of 8.5 W.

Selection Notes
The BMXCPS2000 fits racks powered from a 100-240 V AC single-phase line where 16.8 W on the 24 V DC I/O-and-processor rail covers the connected module load; a higher-power AC-input variant in the same range exists for racks that need more on that rail. Racks fed from a 24 V DC or 24-48 V DC control supply instead use the DC-input variants in the range, not this AC-input module. The separate 2.5 A 3.3 V DC logic rail and 0.45 A 24 V DC sensor rail are isolated from the I/O/processor rail, so a fault on a field sensor supply does not collapse backplane logic power.
