Select the BMXAMO0210 when only 2 isolated analog outputs are needed per slot — each channel is isolated to 1400 V DC from ground/bus and 750 V DC from the other channel, which matters when driving actuators on separate machine sections from a shared rack. Its ≤1 ms conversion time and 15-bit + sign resolution give fine setpoint steps at lower channel density than the 4- and 8-output cards in the same range. The predefined or configurable fallback mode on loss of communication determines whether each output holds its last value or drops to a fixed level, a setting worth reviewing against the safety behaviour expected of the connected actuator. The module's 20-way connector and internal rack-supplied power keep external wiring limited to the two output loops themselves, with no separate output power supply to wire in.
