Selection Notes

Choose the BMEXBP0800 over the 4-slot rack when a local M580 or M340 station needs 8 I/O slots on one backplane — the connector, fixing modes, and module compatibility stay identical between the two rack sizes, so mixing rack sizes across a system does not change which modules fit. Its 164 mA draw at 24 V DC is higher than the 4-slot rack's, which matters when a BMXCPS supply is shared across several fully populated racks.
