The Schneider Electric ATV610D18N4 is an Easy Altivar 610 variable frequency drive rated for 18.5 kW motor power in normal duty (15 kW heavy duty) on a 380-460 V three-phase supply. It delivers 39.2 A continuous output current at 4 kHz switching frequency and carries an IP20 enclosure rating. The drive controls asynchronous and synchronous motors on fans, pumps, compressors and conveyors.

Selection Notes

Selection between normal duty and heavy duty ratings depends on load torque profile: choose the 18.5 kW/39.2 A normal duty rating for variable-torque loads like fans and pumps, or size to the 15 kW/31.7 A heavy duty rating for constant-torque loads such as compressors and conveyors that need more starting torque margin. At IP20, the drive can be panel- or wall-mounted with protection against finger contact and dust ingress, without requiring a sealed enclosure. It shares its 211 x 232 mm frame with the 22 kW variant, so a panel built for one accepts the other if the load is later resized. The integrated Category C3 EMC filter (IEC 61800-3) covers motor cable runs up to 50 m without an external filter.
