Size the ATH230U15N4 to the driven motor's nameplate current, not the drive's frame rating: its 1.5 kW motor rating at 380-500 V sets the ceiling for the connected pump, fan, or compressor motor. Within the ATH230 line, the 380-500 V 3-phase variant applies where the panel's incoming 3-phase supply matches that band — pick the sibling with a different current or supply rating if the OEM panel's motor or incoming feed differs. The integrated STO input lets the drive sit inside a safety circuit (SIL 3 / PL e) without an external contactor to remove torque, and the native Modbus and BACnet MS/TP ports let a building automation system read status and write speed setpoints directly, without a protocol gateway.
