Selection Notes

The integrated Class A filter and energy-recovery capability set the PM250 apart from a PM240-2 of similar power - braking energy returns to the supply instead of heating a resistor, which matters for hoists, centrifuges, and other frequently decelerating loads. At 7.50kW (LO) / 5.50kW (HO) with an 18.00A rated LO current, this is the smallest FSC-frame PM250 in the range; step up to the next current rating once continuous torque exceeds what this module supports.

Applications

Used as the power stage of a SINAMICS G120 drive for fans, pumps, and small hoists on a 380-480V three-phase supply where regenerative braking reduces resistor heat load. Pairs with a matching Control Unit and BOP display; screw-type terminals are fitted as standard.
