The Siemens 6SL3130-7TE23-6AA3 is a SINAMICS S120 Active Line Module rated 60A, 36kW, converting 3AC 380-480V line input into a regulated DC 600V link at 1.35 x line voltage in Smart Mode. The Active Line Module regulates the DC link through a closed-loop controlled rectifier, rated continuously at 36kW / 60A with a 117A maximum output, marginally below a companion Smart Line Module's 118A maximum at the same frame size - pick it when line-friendly sinusoidal current draw and a controlled DC-link voltage are required rather than the simpler uncontrolled rectifier a Smart Line Module provides. The 65kA short-circuit strength and 342-528V line voltage range match the Smart Line Module class, so the choice comes down to controlled versus uncontrolled infeed, not current rating. Conductor cross-section runs 2.5 to 50mm2 with up to 630m of shielded cable to the line reactor or filter.
