Selection Notes

The ATV320D18N4C's compact wall-mount format and 3C3-coated boards (IEC 60721-3-3) let it run at up to 60 degC ambient without extra panel cooling, which is the deciding factor for tight OEM enclosures. Built-in STO and SS1 remove the need for an external safety relay on machines that only require torque-off on demand; if Safe Speed Monitor or Safe Direction is needed, a different safety function set applies. Confirm the 22 kA prospective Isc rating against the panel's available fault current before selecting this frame over a lower-Isc drive in the same range.
