The RF280R is the largest integrated-antenna reader in the RF200 line at 160 x 80 x 41 mm, mounted with 4 x M5 screws instead of the 2-screw pattern on the smaller cuboid readers, and it draws 0.13 A versus the 0.05 A typical of the other readers in this family. Its wider -25 to +70°C operating range and -40 to +85°C storage/transport range also exceed the smaller RF200 readers, which is consistent with the larger antenna and electronics package. Choose the RF280R over the next-largest cuboid variant when the read distance the 75 x 75 x 41 mm body provides is still not enough for the application.
