Accepting either 230 V AC or 18-264 V DC on the same terminals, this PSU3400 Uni variant works as a primary AC-fed supply or as a DC-DC converter downstream of a 24 V battery or another DC bus without a different part number. The 3.5 A rating with no derating up to 70 degrees C gives headroom over the 2.5 A typical rated current, and soft-start switch-on avoids inrush transients on sensitive downstream electronics; pick a PSU6200 model instead when only AC input is available and a diagnostic contact is required.

Applications

Suited to panels that may be fed from either AC mains or an existing 24 V DC bus, and to battery-backed or DC-distributed installations needing a compact DC-DC 24 V/2.5 A stage.
