The Schneider Electric METSEPM5580 is a PowerLogic PM5580 flush-mount power meter built for a 24 V DC supply instead of the standard universal AC/DC input. It delivers Class 0.2S accuracy to IEC 62053-22 at 128 samples per cycle, measures voltage, current, power, energy and harmonics to the 63rd order, and monitors neutral current directly with calculated ground current over dual Ethernet and RS485 Modbus.

Selection Notes

The PM5580 is a 24 V DC-powered version of the PM5560 platform, built for switchboards and control cabinets that already run a 24 V DC control bus and would otherwise need a separate AC/DC converter to feed a meter. Measurement performance - Class 0.2S accuracy, 63rd-harmonic analysis, dual Ethernet - is unchanged from the AC-fed siblings. Choose the PM5580 specifically when the panel's available auxiliary supply is 24 V DC rather than 90-528 V AC/100-300 V DC.
