Selection Notes

The 5A relay-rated outputs on this DM16 24R handle direct contactor coils and small motor loads that a transistor-output expansion module couldn't switch without an interposing relay — pick the transistor variant instead where fast, high-cycle switching matters more than raw current capacity. Occupying 4 spacing units for 8DI/8DO, it adds a full input-and-output block in one slot on the DIN rail rather than splitting inputs and outputs across two smaller modules.

Applications

Expands a LOGO! 8 base unit's I/O count for small automation tasks — building services, pump/lighting control, and simple machine interlocks needing relay-switched outputs on 24V DC.
