At 24 V AC/DC with a current draw under 58 mA, it runs directly from a PLC digital output or a 24 V control transformer, unlike the 230...240 V XB5KS2M8 variant, which needs mains-level wiring. The IP66/IP67/IP69 rating and UL type 4X/13 enclosure make it a fit for panels exposed to hose-down cleaning or humid outdoor cabinets.
